Mythical tales of Jamaica speak of Mami Wata, a water spirit said to dwell at the base of the Lagoon — she is a healer. The element of water is the guiding force of this voyage, which offers a harmonious balance of restorative practices — such as batheing in mineral-rich waters, yin yoga, and heart-centered ceremonies — and adventurous excursions like kayaking among vibrant marine life, including sea turtles and colorful coral reefs.
This is your invitation to slow down, forge new connections, and attune to your true nature in lush unadulterated nature. You’ll leave glowing brighter, feeling lighter, and radiating joy as you re-enter your life renewed and inspired.
Your Guide
Amanda, an artist of alchemy and healing, has always been drawn to the transformative power of beauty. Her travels had led her on a path as a certified yoga instructor, sound meditation guide, aromatherapist, and herbalist has led her to host circles of women globally, weaving together meditation, beauty, and movement into soulful experiences.
This retreat holds a special place in her heart — as it is hosted in her ancestral homeland of Jamaica, a place of deep personal connection and sacred energy.

Ancient traditions for the modern woman are thoughtfully weaved into the retreat experience. Jamaica’s abundance of limestone, mango, hibiscus, honey, and coconut, and castor oils will be reimagined into simple self-led beauty treatments led by Amanda.
THE LOCATION
The Venus Voyage currently has retreats organized in Jamaica, in Portland Parish. The accommodations are as special as the offering tucked in a secluded nature reserve steps away from the world famous Blue Lagoon.
The retreat space serves as the basecamp for the voyage - inclusive of individual bungalows, outposts for the group activities and workshops, and an on-site restaurant for our meals.
It is facing the majestic Blue Lagoon and a short five minute drive to idyllic beaches such as Frenchman’s Cove & Winnifred beach. Water is abundant on the land of wood and water - Mineral Bath Springs, Somerset Falls, and Pellew Island are all in close proximity and make our excursions from the property especially unique.
